WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is referred to as MiU and her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was founded over a decade back. The group has experienced several changes over the time. In the beginning there were numerous female members. As you’d expect from any South Korean amateur dance group There were some unattractive sexually explicit sluts. Many of the girls quickly understood that they didn’t have the self-confidence to dress like sluts when they were in public.
WAVEYA Dance Group does a range of dance videos and events. They mostly make kpop-inspired dance music, which they post on YouTube. In the year 2006, the group started posting dance videos to an online Korean portal site. Waveya gained fame after they created their YouTube channel which has grown to over 3.5 million subscribers since its launch in 2011. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines that feature covers of American and Brazilian musicians, aswell with their own choreography.

Since the beginning of the group since its inception, there have been a number of changes in the lineup. Waveya’s popularity began to grow as soon as they uploaded a YouTube video, in which they performed to Psy’s popular song Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed at concerts and acted in commercials since when. Waveya has performed in concerts in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
