WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers of South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is nicknamed Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young, is called Jang You Sun. They started their dance group around a decade in the past. The group has experienced many changes through the time. In the beginning there were several female members in the group. As you would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of ugly girls. A lot of the girls from the beginning quickly realized that they didn’t have the self-confidence to dress like sluts when they were in public.
WAVEYA Dance Group does a variety of dance videos and events. They upload a lot of kpop covers to YouTube. However, they will also make dance videos of foreign and western artists, as well as songs. They are most famous for their twerk videos as well as for their revealing, skimpy clothes.

In 2006, the group started uploading videos of their dance routines to an online Korean portal site. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in 2011, having more than 3.5 million viewers since the channel was made. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya that incorporate covers from American and Brazilian musicians, aswell in their own choreography.
There have been a few changes in the lineup since the group began. The popularity of Waveya has grown from the moment they posted their YouTube video, which they danced to Psy’s cult song Gangnam Style. Waveya has created YouTube videos, performed concerts and has appeared in commercials since when. Waveya has performed live in numerous countries, such as the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
